Aunque el concepto es muy bueno, porque es rápidamente entendible, cabe hacerse la pregunta, Cómo afecta este concepto a la imagen de la marca Mc Donald’s?. Esta compañía ha utilizado otros conceptos con imágenes de personas alegres y de cómo les encantan esas hamburguesas. Mostrar a la triste Rana René porque se imagina a su novia en una hamburguesa, nos da cualquier tipo de ideas, menos la idea de querer comernos una hamburguesa porque sea deliciosa. Imaginarse a una de las más tiernas marranitas de la historia en una hamburguesa no refuerza la buena imagen que tiene esta compañía. Si forma parte de una “saga” (serie) asegura el seguimiento por parte del espectador.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;li&gt;Indeleble: Proporciona un mayor recuerdo de la marca, incluso algunos eslógans se incorporan a la vida cotidiana.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;li&gt;Seductor: El espectador piensa que si algo le hace reír es porque debe ser bueno.&lt;br /&gt;Desventajas:&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;li&gt;Irritación: Un chiste malo reiterado continuamente puede ser catastrófico para el producto.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;li&gt;Escándalo: El más mínimo exceso puede levantar fuertes protestas.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;li&gt;Eclipse: Un anuncio excesivamente gracioso puede llegar a anular el producto.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;li&gt;Rechazo: En casos extremos puede llegar a generar rechazo hacia el producto.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La efectividad del humor a la hora de aumentar las ventas no funciona cuanto más trascendencia y mayor sea el precio de éste. Por tanto, el humor es MALO PARA productos de alta implicación cuya compra es racional.
